Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy

AF DEVS SRL (RNC: 131000681), located at Puntacana Village, GAL Business Center, 4th Floor, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is a company dedicated to automation, technology, electronic security, and technical support services for residential and commercial properties.

This policy describes the terms for refunds, returns, and cancellations applicable to all services contracted through our website www.afdevs.com or in person.

2. No Refund Policy

Once the service has been contracted and work has begun, no refunds will be issued. By making payment for any of our services, you accept and acknowledge that:

• Technical services require the mobilization of specialized personnel, tools, and equipment to the work site.
• Diagnosis, planning, and coordination of the service begin immediately after payment confirmation.
• Materials and resources assigned to your request are dedicated exclusively to your project.
• No partial or total refunds will be granted once the service has started.

3. Cancellation Before Service Start

If you wish to cancel your request before our team has begun work, you must contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations are subject to case-by-case review and do not guarantee a refund, as coordination and personnel assignment costs are immediate.

4. Service Guarantee

Although we do not offer refunds, AF DEVS SRL commits to completing the contracted service according to agreed standards. If you are not satisfied with the work result, we commit to:

• Making necessary corrections at no additional cost within 7 days following service completion.
• Providing post-service technical support for 30 days for any issues related to the work performed.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

Before initiating any dispute with your banking entity, we ask that you contact us directly. Our team will work to resolve any issue quickly and fairly.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks will be reported and contested with the corresponding documentation of the service provided.

6. Transaction Currency

All prices are expressed in United States Dollars (USD) plus ITBIS (18%). Since Azul processes charges in Dominican Pesos (DOP), the charge to your card will be in DOP at the prevailing exchange rate. If your card is international, your bank may apply a conversion rate according to its own policies.

Service Delivery Policy

1. Nature of Services

AF DEVS SRL provides technical installation, repair, configuration, and maintenance services for technological systems. Our services are delivered at the client's location (on-site) and do not involve shipping of physical products, except for the equipment and materials necessary for the execution of the contracted work.

2. Service Tiers & Response Times

Response time depends on the service tier selected at the time of contracting. All prices are expressed in United States Dollars (USD) plus ITBIS (18%). The charge to your card will be processed in Dominican Pesos (DOP) at the prevailing exchange rate.

3. Service Delivery Process

Once payment is confirmed, the service delivery process is as follows:

• 1. Confirmation — You will receive an email and/or WhatsApp confirming your request with the order number and service details.
• 2. Assignment — A specialized technician will be assigned to your case within the time corresponding to your service tier.
• 3. Contact — The technician will contact you to coordinate the visit and confirm the exact address.
• 4. Execution — The technician will arrive at the agreed location, perform the diagnosis, and execute the work.
• 5. Closure — Upon completion, you will receive a work report and a service completion receipt.

4. Coverage Area

Our services are available in the following areas of the Dominican Republic:

• Punta Cana and Bávaro
• Cap Cana
• La Romana and Casa de Campo
• Santo Domingo (limited availability)

For locations outside these areas, please contact us to confirm availability and possible additional travel costs.

5. Large-Scale Projects

For complete installation projects (home automation, security systems, network infrastructure), delivery times are established individually in the project proposal/quote. These projects include a detailed timeline that will be agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

AF DEVS SRL is committed to protecting the personal and financial information of our clients. We implement the strictest security measures to ensure that your credit or debit card data is protected throughout the entire transaction process.

2. Data Encryption (SSL/TLS)

All information transmitted between your browser and our servers is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer / Transport Layer Security) encryption. This encryption standard ensures that your card data cannot be intercepted or read by third parties during transmission.

You can verify that you are on a secure connection by checking that our site URL begins with https:// and that a padlock icon appears in your browser's address bar.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Azul, the leading payment processing platform in the Dominican Republic. Azul complies with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) standards, ensuring the highest level of security in card data handling.

AF DEVS SRL does not store, record, or retain the complete data of your credit or debit card. Card data (number, expiration date, security code) is transmitted directly to the Azul payment processor in encrypted form and is not stored on our servers at any time.

1. Who we are

We process personal data in accordance with Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the comprehensive protection of personal data (Ley Orgánica sobre Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal).

2. What we collect and why

• Contact form (/contact) — name, phone/WhatsApp, email (optional), project type and your message. Used to reply to your request and prepare a proposal. Sent to our client-management system (admin.afdevs.com).
• New-client intake (/newclient) — name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), the services you are interested in, notes, and the property location you place on the map (coordinates and address). Used to contact you, plan a site visit and prepare a quote. The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles, and the address is looked up with OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service from the pin coordinates.
• 3D tour access (/tour) — name, email, and optionally a phone number or company, plus the tour you opened and the referring page. Sent to our team by email so we can follow up on your interest.
• WhatsApp, phone and email — when you contact us directly, we keep the conversation to handle your request.
• Payments — card payments are processed by Azul; we never receive or store full card data (see the Card Data Security policy above).

Forms include a hidden anti-spam field and the server applies basic rate limiting using your IP address; we do not use your IP address for anything else.

3. Analytics and advertising cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries (for example, a click on WhatsApp, a call or a form submission). These tools are provided by Google and set cookies in your browser. They load only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; if you choose “Reject”, they are not loaded. We use Google Consent Mode v2 so that Google receives your choice. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

The site also stores a few preferences in your browser (theme, language, cookie choice) that never leave your device.

4. Legal basis and retention

We process your data on the basis of your consent (forms and analytics cookies) and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project, and for the periods required by Dominican tax and commercial law for clients.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you: our hosting provider (Vercel), our client-management database, our email delivery provider, Google (analytics and ads, only with consent), OpenStreetMap (map and address lookup on /newclient) and Azul (payments). Some of these providers process data outside the Dominican Republic.

6. Your rights

Under Law 172-13 you may request access to, correction, updating or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@afdevs.com and we will respond within the legal time limits.

7. Security

All traffic to www.afdevs.com is encrypted with TLS, and access to client data is limited to authorized AF DEVS staff.

• Registro de nuevo cliente (/newclient) — nombre, número de WhatsApp, correo (opcional), los servicios de su interés, notas y la ubicación de la propiedad que marca en el mapa (coordenadas y dirección). Se usan para contactarle, planificar una visita y preparar una cotización. El mapa usa OpenStreetMap y la dirección se obtiene con el servicio Nominatim de OpenStreetMap a partir de las coordenadas del pin.
• Acceso al tour 3D (/tour) — nombre, correo y, opcionalmente, teléfono o empresa, además del tour que abrió y la página de procedencia. Se envían por correo a nuestro equipo para dar seguimiento a su interés.
• WhatsApp, teléfono y correo — cuando nos contacta directamente, conservamos la conversación para atender su solicitud.
• Pagos — los pagos con tarjeta los procesa Azul; nunca recibimos ni almacenamos los datos completos de su tarjeta.

Los formularios incluyen un campo oculto antispam y el servidor aplica límites de envío usando su dirección IP; no usamos su IP para ningún otro fin.

3. Cookies de analítica y publicidad

Con su consentimiento, usamos Google Analytics 4 para entender cómo se usa el sitio (páginas vistas, ubicación aproximada, tipo de dispositivo) y la medición de conversiones de Google Ads para saber si nuestros anuncios generan consultas (por ejemplo, un clic en WhatsApp, una llamada o el envío de un formulario). Solo los compartimos con proveedores que nos ayudan a operar el sitio y responderle: nuestro proveedor de hosting (Vercel), nuestra base de datos de gestión de clientes, nuestro proveedor de envío de correos, Google (analítica y anuncios, solo con consentimiento), OpenStreetMap (mapa y búsqueda de dirección en /newclient) y Azul (pagos). Algunos de estos proveedores tratan datos fuera de la República Dominicana.

6. Sus derechos
